This page has two live cameras, one is looking at the entrance to our observation hive and the other is looking at the bees working inside the hive. As far as we can tell, this is unique!

June 2011: The bees are bringing in large quantities of nectar from bramble and clover. If you look carefully at the bees legs as they come in, you can see dark brown pollen which is from clover. When the weather is warm there are often bees hanging outside, even at night. |
June 2011: The camera is showing a section of brood comb - most of the cells are capped and adult bees will start to emerge shortly. Curled up larvae can be seen in some of the cells. |
