This page has two live cameras, one is looking at the entrance to our observation hive and the other is looking at the bees working inside the hive. As far as we can tell, this is unique!

April 2013: The bees are flying well and collecting pollen when possible. The recent cold weather has made flights difficult and also there has been a shortage of pollen, but it only takes a few nice days to get them going again. |
April 2013: At last!! Brood is being reared again. Brood rearing started earlier on in the spring but a shortage of pollen meant that the first young bees did not make it through to adulthood. The queen has now started laying fast and the bees are bringing in pollen whenever possible. |
