On Sunday 16th we held a BBQ, ticket sales surged last minute when the weather forecast improved. Garden games were laid out including croquet, giant connect 4, Jenga and horseshoes.

 The event went off really well with everyone enjoying the food, sun and getting competitive at the games !

Manager Wayne married Louise on Saturday 1st August - Gavin took Louise to the ceremony in the Alvis and the weather (just about) held out. Gavin somehow didn’t manage to get any photos but here is one Wayne has given us:

James had his 7th birthday party at the hotel on Saturday - the theme was “It’s a knockout” and Gavin constructed a pond for the water games from straw bales and polythene sheet. We are now having trouble persuading James and Zoë that the pond can’t stay on the lawn!

As yet no guests have been spotted in the pool!
