The Melton Rotary who visit us for lunch every Monday had a trip out last week to see the recently refurbished Carnegie Museum. They were also given a preview of a soon to open new exhibition area. We provided a buffet lunch which they ate at the museum, the chocolate brownies and bakewell tarts went down particularly well!
The ladies ‘20 Club’ on the visit last week had a talk by Gavin on bees. An observation hive was taken into the room so they could look at bees up close. No one fell asleep Gavin did threaten to let the bees out if they did. As a thank you the group sponsored Gavin for his ‘3 peaks challemge’ he is doing in June.
