| Bedrooms at Sysonby Knoll Hotel | ||
| We have 30 bedrooms in total, of which 9 are single and the rest are either twin or double bedded rooms. There are 2 four poster rooms ideal for a honeymoon or special nights away. All of our bedrooms have en-suite facilities, satellite/digital TV, telephone with voicemail & direct dial number, and all the other comforts you would expect. Sysonby Knoll is unusual in that all of our beds have high quality pocketed spring mattresses. | ||
| Because the hotel has expanded over a long period, our bedrooms vary greatly in size and shape. Some of our rooms are on the ground floor, and some are suitable for extra beds or other particular requirements. It is therefore important to give us as much information as possible when enquiring about a room so that we can make your stay as comfortable as possible. | ||
| This page shows a selection of bedrooms which are typical of those within each class. | ||
| This is Room 3, our Master Four Poster bedroom, ideal for a honeymoon or other special occasion. The room has original architectural features and is high enough not to be dominated by the impressive 9' high bed, which is a genuine antique. | ![]() |
|
| This is Room 5, our second Four Poster bedroom. Although this bed is less impressive than that in room 3, they share the same architectural features and both have superb views over the gardens and river. Both of the four posters are non-smoking and dogs are not permitted in these rooms. | ![]() |
|
| This is Room 35, an executive double in our annexe which was opened in 2002. All of our annexe rooms are non-smoking rooms and dogs are not permitted in these rooms. They are very spacious with Queen size beds (5 feet wide) and very high quality furnishings. | ![]() |
|
| This is Room 34, also an executive double in the annexe. This room has a "colonial" feel and is furnished with hand-made cane from Angraves of Thurmaston. There is also an executive twin-bedded room available in the annexe which is very similar to this one. A more detailed view of this room can be seen in the virtual tour section of the website. | ![]() |

| This is Room 19, a superior double room in the main building. Superior rooms have a high standard of furnishings although the rooms and bathrooms are less spacious than executives. Dogs are welcome in these rooms and there is a selection of doubles and twins, with ground floor rooms available. | ![]() |
|
| This is Room 27, a standard double room. Standard rooms have all of the facilities expected at 3 star standard but have less space than the superiors. Standard rooms offer excellent value for money. | ![]() |

| This is Room 12, a standard twin-bedded room. | ![]() |
|
| This is Room 6, a single bedded room. Some single rooms have shower only. | ![]() |
